So I don't see an argument that a game that's just about rape is somehow worse than a game that involves rape as a particularly viable one. So obviously, we as a society, see a crime that's committed as part of larger plot as a more heinous one than just a random crime. You'll be lucky not to get the death penalty. On another hand, imagine you have a complicated plot to rob a bank, and then during escape, you shoot a cop. That's manslaughter, and you have a chance of getting out of prison sometime during your life time. You then realize that life is sh*t, pull out a gun, and shoot someone. Say you are walking in the streets with your properly licensed handgun. These are good points, but they still don't sound like arguments on it being right/wrong, and more the arguments on it just being a bad game, which it really is. There is absolutely no other reason for people to play the game, whereas the opposite is true of a game like GTA, as it's so multi-faceted. This game sounds boring as batsh*t, unless you honestly get off on the idea of raping someone. However, there's a certain element of intent to consider. I totally get what you're saying about the avatars not being real. If all you could do was get into a car and run people down, then the game would be outright stupid. It's not Super Happy Vehicular Manslaughter Simulator. It's not the entire point of the game, though. I really don't think that's a fair comparison, considering that running over pedestrians is such a tiny, tiny element of a much larger game. If you try to take any position in between, such as that only some of these fantasies are ok, and others are fundamentally wrong, it just makes you a hypocrite. In which case, there is no difference between simulated murder, rape, or child rape. You can either take a stance that fantasizing about anything illegal is fundamentally wrong and destabilizing to society, and start banning games that feature any sort of criminal activity, starting with GTA, or you can take a stance that it's just a fantasy and has no correlation with what person will do in real life. Because there is no her to make vulnerable. But that still doesn't make her more vulnerable. She might get some attributes of such personality attributed here in the mind of whoever is fantasizing. She's not someone that's still to develop into a personality, and therefore particularly vulnerable. So her being "underage" is purely a matter of appearance of the avatar. Once you agree that a rape fantasy is not reprehensible, extending it to a rape fantasy featuring an underage girl does not change the situation at all. Secondly, you are trying to protect something that never existed. In contrast, rape, even of a child, still leaves a victim that may recover. This person with all of their dreams and thoughts is gone. There might be a few things that are just as bad in certain limited circumstances, but nothing that's worse. That sh*t ain't on.įirst of all, you cannot do more harm to a person by any means other than killing that person. Make a game simulating rape just don't include simulated little girls. We are talking about a game that allows people to simulate the rape of underage girls. We aren't simply talking about a rape fantasy game or a murder fantasy game. How anyone can be accepting of that is beyond me. However, Rapelay goes a step further and has you raping 10 year olds. Therefore, the simulation of pedophilia is worse than the simulation of rape and murder. Pedophilia is a worse crime than rape and murder combined. RapeLay has not been rated by our users yet.I'd agree K^2, except, Rapelay involves the rape of underage simulations of girls. RapeLay runs on the following operating systems: Android/iOS/Windows/Mac. It was initially added to our database on. The latest version of RapeLay is currently unknown. It was checked for updates 31 times by the users of our client application UpdateStar during the last month. RapeLay is a Shareware software in the category Games & Entertainment developed by Chrome Illusioner. However, given male sexual violence is endemic to all societies and countries around the world then challenging men’s perceived right and entitlement to use women and girls as ‘sexualised entertainment’ is something which goes right to the heart of belief in men’s innate right to treat and perceive women and girls as sexualised dehumanised beings. Remember desensitisation is the first step towards dehumanisation and various genocides were allowed to happen because the perpetrators viewed their victims as dehumanised objects. If experienced feminist researchers and activists are deeply negatively affected just by watching these images, what effect does this have on those male players who play this game. Rapelay, a violent misogynistic game which reinforces dominant myths concerning women’s and girls’ sexualities.
